Ghosting is a very common practice in Japan, and becoming even more so for younger generations all over the world. This short film follows a day in the life of Momo, a young Japanese woman living in Tokyo, as she relives key moments of her past, in search of answers after her boyfriend of one year disappears for no apparent reason.

Speaking about the film, Spanish director Marc Oller says, "Ana and I wrote this story when we lived in Tokyo. A few months before moving to Japan, our friend’s girlfriend disappeared. They had been together for three and a half years, and they were planning on living together when one night they had a stupid argument, and she stopped replying to his messages. She blocked him on Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram… The next time our friend heard from her was seven months later when she wrote to him to get her clothes back."

"Since we lived this relationship very closely, it really affected us too. Especially seeing our friend going through a breakup with no proper closure and the painful mystery of her disappearance." continues Oller.

"In Tokyo, I met Zack Spiger, the DP of this project, and he challenged me to write and shoot a short film in one month. I accepted the challenge. Ana and I had been discussing the idea of writing a story about ghosting, and we felt this was the perfect time to do it."
