Karl Lagerfeld always puts on an impressive show for his seasonal Chanel collections, and the spring 2010 presentation was no exception. Models emerged from a hay-covered barn, dressed head-to-toe in beige and white ensembles, inspired by life on a very luxurious farm. Beyond the spectacle, however (which culminated in Karl himself interrupting a trio of models rolling in the hay) the collection was packed full of ingenious details, with flowers adorning waistlines, delicate, garland-like jewellery and some self-consciously rustic fraying on hemlines. This idyllic video was shot before the show, and looks more closely at the intricacies of the collection.
