Since 2006, Alber Elbaz and Lucas Ossendrijver’s catwalk collections for Lanvin menswear have set the benchmark at fashion week, communicating a unique, disheveled refinement with their super-luxurious materials and adventurous, crumpled silhouettes. Naturally, however, not every man wants to wear silk pyjama bottoms and metallic hi-tops into the office, and that’s where Lanvin’s 15 Faubourg line comes in. For fall, this collection of classic suits has incorporated some subtle details inspired by the runway collections, including unfinished hemlines, bib-front shirts and a wider range of modern materials (such as techno canvas and aged steel).
