Austrian artist Mirjam Baker captures a moment of submersion in an abstract video for electronic duo Monochord's meditative composition, Floating Tank. “Someone jumps into a pond and we become them as we experience the underwater scenery from their point of view,” says Baker of her mesmerizing piece.

“The video is made entirely of the footage that you see at the beginning,” continues the Cologne-based artist. “The colors in the animation sequences come from that footage—multiplied, stretched, then layered on top of each other digitally.”
