Hush Arbors is the pseudonym of Virginian-born musician Keith Woods, whose idiosyncratic brand of folk has been entrancing the indie community since he began putting out CDRs of his darkly ambient songs in 2004. Startlingly prolific, with countless self-released EPs and 7”s to his name, Woods is often associated with experimental music, but his latest Hush Arbors material has demonstrated his flair for creating lush, fuzzy pop songs. Produced by J Mascis, the guitarist from legendary guitarsmiths Dinosaur Jr, “Coming Home” is taken from Woods’s upcoming album, Yankee Reality, which is released this month on Thurston Moore’s label Ecstatic Peace!
