London-based director Zaiba Jabbar, known for making music videos for artists including Little Boots and Esperanza Spalding and working with publications including Vogue Italia, talks about her film, First Date:

“Nothing says things better then your gut. For me, the film draws on those innate instincts through movement and light—seeing hope and joy when you least expect it.

“Capturing an uncontrived, honest reaction almost felt like that moment when you dip your toe into the unknown, causing enlightened yet reserved ripples of joy around you.”
