East London vintage store Aro Archive pays homage to influential Japanese fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto in this short film directed by Jospeh Delaney, Aro Archive's head of special projects.

The film introduces a 30-piece collection that showcases the teams shared love of the "anti-fashion" fashion designer and is on sale via high-end concept store LN-CC. “Yamamoto’s clothes are made to be worn and we love how that connects to a very real sense of life and community," says Delaney.

Yohji Yamamoto 1983–2016 stars an array of faces, from models dancers and musicians, including Canadian singer LA Timpa, British songwriter Gia Ford, London punk rock duo Skinny Girl Diet, Balenciaga model Georgie Somerville, Gucci
campaign model Sam Crowther and Vivienne Westwood models Felix Edwards. In addition to characters cast from Aro’s own world, customers from its Broadway Market store, members of the team, and Morgan Freeman lookalike Lloyd Collins.

Aro Archive is a collection of 6000 pieces of womenswear and menswear from the 1880s to the present day with a focus on Japanese, French, and Belgian designs. It operates as a rental service for design houses, museums, and educational institutions.
