Director and photographer Magnus Andersen captures one woman’s struggle with solitude for indie electro foursome Vök’s wistful track BTO—filmed during winter in Iceland on one of the shortest days of the year. Here, Andersen talks about his atmospheric video:

"The contrast between the song's joyful melody and grave lyrics was a central theme when developing the visual concept. We wanted to create a sense of a different reality within our world, something that feels like a distant future, even post-apocalyptic.

“The video is set in a lonely place where time feels almost eternal. The protagonist spends her days fantasizing about a better life, and slowly her dreams seep into reality and the fantasy takes over."
