The Harvesters is a short observational documentary about three Maasai men harvesting honey in the Mau Forest in Kenya.

This dialogue-free film focuses on the tools and techniques that these men utilize to conduct the frightening task of honey collection. Director Derek Howard has created a pensive portrait of the invisible labor that exists in what is now an extinct forest.
