From NOWNESS contributor Nick Ballón comes this meditation on the production of Alphorns and the soothing sounds of wood. Shot in the Black Forest, the dream-like opening contrasts with the harsh industrial wind turbine and the mechanical production of the factory. By using the calming tones of the hand-made wind instruments, combined with the natural sounds of the forest, Ballon works to create ease in an otherwise tense surrounding landscape.
