Danish-born designer Peter Jensen took a chilly trip to Greenland to research his fall 2009 collection, a homage to his Aunt Jytte, who defiantly rocked miniskirts in the 70s despite her homeland’s arctic temperatures. For the collection’s London premiere, Jensen got together with fashion photographer Tim Walker—a master of extravagant staging—to create a suitably folksy installation in Dover Street Market. Set to open just before London Fashion Week in September, it will be accompanied by one-off pieces, including faux-fur leggings and prints designed by the duo.
