French-Canadian director François Jaros talks about his tragi-comedy Life's a Bitch:

“Can we squeeze an entire feature into five minutes? Of course we can! Life’s a Bitch was the perfect plan for a miserable twenty days of shooting, sixty locations, forty characters.

"We squeezed ninety-five scenes into a five-minute film. The idea was to illustrate each scene into a single shot, presenting only its key element."
