BBC comedy writer Craig Ainsley talks about his inaugural foray as writer-director:

“It was a fun time. I realised that there are a bunch of great comic actors out there, and it’s really fun to write roles from them. I wrote Lesley for a talented funny guy, Arnab Chanda. I just creepily sent him the script out of the blue.

“The film is about wanting to switch off and reconnect with nature, but you can’t because your desire to be the world’s greatest actor won’t leave you alone. We shot it in the wonderful Epping Forest, which, it turns out, is also a great place to get completely lost and lose your mind.”
