Belgian director Jaro Minne talks about the video he made for the latest release from indie-folk act J Churcher’s debut album, Borderland State:

“I was intrigued by the track and the hazy energy of Borderland State. Riding On Your Love inspired me to create a video set in the vast landscapes of Eastern Georgia. I wanted to convey an evocative but fragile intensity that mirrors the track—a sensation of longing and something slightly mythical.

"There was a simple narrative premise: a woman and a man have an unexpected, mysterious reunion, rediscovering and reconsidering each other with a language of movement. I tried to approach the choreography purely as a vehicle for their discovery. The man transmits energy to the woman with slow-paced incidental movements.
