The inimitable doyenne of French style and one-time muse to Karl Lagerfeld is next up to face the lens in our super-short format series.

Who: Inès de La Fressange.

Occupation: Talks, talks, talks (I’m usually called "consultant" or "brand ambassador”).

Lives: Sometimes Paris/Air France.

Essential work music: Otis Redding.

Career highlight: Opening a bazaar in Paris under my name next May. The past I forget. I am a goldfish.

Known for: Being "la Parisienne" – totally untrue, I was born in Saint-Tropez!

Current fixation: Holidays; the art of doing nothing, which is really hard as everybody today is a workaholic.

Personal hero: Diego Della Valle [president of Tod’s] – my boss. When he reads this he will be happy and will re-sign my contract!

Ambition: I would like to decorate a small, cozy and chic hotel in Paris.

Upcoming/ongoing/latest projects: Cosmopolitan Promenade is a capsule collection of the iconic Roger Vivier ‘Miss Viv’ bag, personalized for me by the gorgeous Roger Vivier creative team. Each one is inspired by my travels: Mademoiselle da la Frange is laid back with a 70s vibe, and another called Paris-Pondicherry is from my love of this beautiful place in India. [Designing] carpets for Toulemonde Bochart. I am still modeling for L'Oréal even though I am nearly 95 years old! Nice, isn't it?
