Chadwick Boseman spent the last four secretly battling colon cancer and died on  28 August 2020 with his family by his side. His sudden passing was a shock to many of his fans and colleagues. Boseman's iconic status was born after he brought Marvel's T'Challa to life in Black Panther. This film was a landmark in cinema history as it was the first superhero production to have an all-Black leading cast.
