A very Andersonian Wes Anderson mini documentary, Paul Waters’ billet-doux to the great filmmaker not only expertly deconstructs the key elements inherent to the Texan’s cinematic universe, but lovingly pastiches his aesthetic in the process (right down to his use of the Futura font). Given that the profile was created before The Grand Budapest Hotel, there is no mention of Anderson’s most successful film – which is surely a great excuse for Waters to revisit Anderson World again soon.
