Kate Moss has been painted by Lucien Freud, sculpted by Marc Quinn and immortalized via a hologram for Alexander McQueen’s runway. To celebrate her newest collaboration with Topshop, NOWNESS enlists her close-knit London entourage for a scrapbook-style portrait of the supermodel in absentia. This candid glimpse into the world of Ms. Moss takes in stories of nocturnal singing sessions from Primal Scream’s Bobby Gillespie and Gossip frontwoman Beth Ditto, as well as a tattoo confessional with BBC Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw, whose quickfire Kate cartoon features at the film’s close.  “For someone who never speaks on camera, she never shuts up,” says Grimshaw of the enduring muse. “She just talks and talks and talks.” Known for her ability to command a room and influence her own fashion idols (see also: Vivienne Westwood’s pirate boots), Moss has appeared on over 300 magazine covers and received the Special Recognition accolade at last year’s British Fashion Awards. She reprises the role of fit model for her first Topshop range in three years, which launches this week. “I think that Kate’s incredible library of references has helped her become an amazing designer,” says makeup artist and longtime friend Charlotte Tilbury. “There’s even a saying now, ‘Have you been Mossed?’”

The 40-piece collection will be available at Topshop’s flagship Oxford Circus store from April 29, before being made available at Topshop stores globally, Topshop.com, NET-A-PORTER.com, Nordstrom.com and Nordstrom stores from April 30.
