Massachusetts-born electronic duo Boy Harsher has written and directed an original feature film titled The Runner, which is now available to stream on Shudder. The band's foray into the world of cinema should not come as a surprise as the pair met at film school in Savannah, Georgia. 

The Runner is as sinister and seductive as the dark, hedonistic pop that has cultivated their underground cult following. The movie follows a strange woman as she travels to a secluded, rural town where her violent compulsions are slowly revealed. 

Boy Harsher has given NOWNESS an exclusive look at two scenes taken from The Runner for your viewing pleasure.  

Not only did The Runner sneak its way onto our 10 Most Anticipated Movies of 2022 but it will probably be one of the most immersive ways to experience the duo's upcoming album, which serves as the movie's brooding soundtrack. Watch the official trailer below.
