"The storm as a powerful motif, one that is repeatedly present in the history of painting, of literature, of music," says creative director Delphine Roche of the inspiration for the film she made with Paris-based director Julien Pujol. Known for his work for publications including Dazed and Another Man, here, Pujol talks about the film, which stars Paris Opera Ballet dancer Germain Louvet:

"Caravaggio was a big influence; seeing his paintings in Rome, their simplicity, his way of creating scenes of masculinity that are also delicate and intimate.

“We wanted to have that type of light with this modern Wagnerian music, playing with figures hidden in the darkness, barely there. In dance there are so many moments that are almost imperceptible, then something catches you and you play it over and over in your head. That was the approach in the editing: to deconstruct, slow down movements and reveal this hidden story."
