Debuted at Sundance 2025, comedy short Sweet Talkin’ Guy grapples with fragile masculinity through a trans woman’s experience over three consecutive dates with straight men. As each man’s sexual identity unravels in frantic monologues delivered to the object of their desires, the absurd dates put her at the receiving end of their insecurities, seeking reassurance about their own attraction to her.

Written and directed by siblings Spencer Wardwell and Miss Dylan – who also stars alongside Jimmie Fails, Pierce Abernathy, and Daniel Olson – the satirical short frames the bizarre dynamic that marks Dylan’s own lived experience.
