As part of @ProjectAdrift, a multimedia undertaking from artists Cath Le Couteur and Nick Ryan, Gruff Rhys from the Super Furry Animals gets inside the head (and trousers) of a piece of space junk.

@ProjectAdrift is a new venture by artists Cath Le Couteur and Nick Ryan exploring the secret world of space debris. Winning an open call from arts commissioning organisation The Space, the duo have put together a sound installation—a handcrafted electromechanical sound instrument tracks the position of debris as it passes overhead, translating the trajectory into sound—plus a series of Twitter accounts that send live status updates from space junk to anyone following them, and a documentary of new and archival footage (including narration from Sally Potter) recounting the story of space junk and its interactions with the Earth. Find out more about @ProjectAdrift
