Revered for his strange, surreal and seductive films, David Lynch is a true original. Though he is most famed for his suspense-laden visuals, a key aspect of his most successful film work has been his involvement in soundtracks—he composed parts of the score for Wild At Heart and Mulholland Drive. This year Lynch has partnered with super producer Danger Mouse to produce Dark Night of the Soul, a full-length album and illustrated book that features contributions from among others Frank Black and Iggy Pop. An exhibition of 50 photographs from the project, accompanied by the Danger Mouse soundtrack, is on show from December 4 at Miami’s O.H.W.O.W. gallery.
