Soho was once the heart of London's bohemia. Touching on this heritage, artist Jonathan Yeo and writer Francesca Gavin have co-curated a collection of British art for the newly opened Dean Street Townhouse. The classic British hotel and brasserie has over 75 artworks on its walls—including original pieces from Tracey Emin, Paul Noble, Gavin Turk and Peter Blake. Much of the work touches on the building's history—it was once the location of a notorious mid-century drink haunt, The Gargoyle Club, where Matisse created a red interior for the delectation of famous clientele such as Graham Greene, Noel Coward and Francis Bacon.
