A24 reveals the new trailer for Problemista, from Salvadorian writer/director Julio Torres – who also stars. Narrated by Isabella Rossellini, with a cast that includes Torres, alongside Tilda Swinton, RZA, and Greta Lee, the film follows aspiring toy designer Alejandro, whose dreams of realizing his unusual ideas in New York City find him met with innumerable obstacles. 

As his move from El Salvador threatens to meet its end, with his working visa approaching its expiration, Alejandro takes a job assisting an erratic art-world outcast in a bid to extend his time in the country. Navigating the intertwined treachery of life in Manhattan and the U.S. Immigration system, Problemista sees a surreal adventure unfold as the promise of the American dream descends into a nightmare.
