Disillusioned by our detachment from a tactile way of living—and bringing attention to how we experience the world via the looking glass of our smartphone screens rather than feeling the ground beneath our feet—artist and director Lucy Hardcastle created an immersive audiovisual artwork hoping to bridge the gap between these two realities (the perceived and the experienced). Initially inspired by Liverpool-born five piece Outfit's track "Genderless", a segment of Hardcastle's hour-long video was in turn used by the group for their video of the same track—the latest release from their album Slowness.
