When developing their video for indie four-piece Our Mother, directors Josh Fletcher and Max Smith were set on making something that felt "unapologetically British." Inspiration struck when the pair saw images of leaf-adorned faces and foliage-clad crowds in a photo series about the Hastings-based Jack in the Green Festival, which celebrates the return of summer. "Those visuals slotted in with everything Max and I had been discussing, how all these people had jobs, cars and families, but were still connected to this age-old tradition and had crafted these amazing costumes.”
