American singer-songwriter Moses Sumney releases his new single Virile. Fluctuating between the terrestrial landscapes and a meat factory, Sumney’s directional debut that accompanies the song surveys masculinity and its innate contradictions.

Starring Sumney as the last remaining man on Earth in a post-human world, the music video is built around contradictions and aims to deconstruct the meaning of the male body. Dressed in black and hunted by a group of ladybugs, Sumney tiptoes between the topics of brutality and beauty, masculinity and femininity, constrain and freedom.
