Michael Kiwanuka is fast becoming the star of British soul music. For his second album, Love & Hate, the London-based singer-songwriter enlisted the help of Danger Mouse, aka American producer Brian Joseph Burton, who is best known for his work with Gnarls Barkley, Gorillaz and the Black Keys, and who Kiwanuka credits for his new stripped-back sound.
