Archy Ivan Marshall aka King Krule announces his third studio album, Man Alive, with the release of his first self-directed video, "(Don’t Let The Dragon) Draag On".

The video pulls influences from Carl Theodor Dreyer’s classic The Passion of Joan of Arc while still creating a typically wry King Krule visual.

In the middle of writing the album, Marshall went through a big change—the birth of his daughter Marina. "The songs are very much a document of pre-fatherhood," says the artist, "and the need for change rather than the new life that ensued."

For longtime fans of king Krule, the same self-effecting, lo-fi, musical aesthetic still pervade his work but now resolves with a tone of intrigue in his new-found responsibility and possibility in the world.
