Drawing on a broad range of influences–everything from The Bauhaus to Topkapi Palace–French-born architect Annabel Karim Kassar first established her practice in Paris in 1994, and now has offices in Beirut, Dubai, Chengdu and London. With an artistic eye and great respect for craftsmanship, Kassar takes on a vast array of projects, from commercial and residential architecture to lighting design, and was the force behind the recent reconstruction of the souks in Beirut.
