In short dance film Good Morning, Marie Louise Hertog’s brings her inimitable style to an original piece of choreography, directed by Dael Poulter. Through vigorous shapes and energetic movements, Hertog occupies space among stark studio surroundings, set to a hard rhythmic beat provided by Nigerian composer Baba Adefuye.
Motivated by the contrast of elegance and aggression, clean visuals and dynamic movement, Poulter and DOP Mark Burke enable Hertog’s choreography to be absorbed without distractions, giving viewers space to fully experience the performance.
