Overcome by movement, Willem Dafoe stars in the debut music video for new Athens-based music project GAMMAGAMMA – initiated by Heretic Films founder and producer Giorgos Karnavas, whose credits include Triangle of Sadness, How to Have Sex, and Hot Milk, and composer, producer and songwriter Georgios Dimakis aka Prins Obi. Directed by Vassilis Katsoupis – who last collaborated with Dafoe on 2023 thriller Inside – the video for Avrio Vrady sees Dafoe surrender to infatuation through performance, as his obsession takes him into a trancelike state from an Athens working class tavern.

Discussing taking on the project, Dafoe shares, “I was very happy to reunite with Vasilis Katsoupis and Giorgos Karnavas, the director and producer of our film Inside. It is a crazy movement piece, and I’m always happy for a reason to be in Athens.”
