Directors Guille Cascante and Santi Baró, of travel collection Eldorado, talk about the latest chapter of the series, Portraits at the Edge of the World, featuring a Norwegian town dedicated to scientific research, which has a permanent population of 35:

“In Svalbard, where the scientific research town of Ny-Ålesund is located, one can’t be born or buried: it is forbidden. There are no indigenous tribes; everybody arriving or leaving is a newcomer. Here we meet Moritz, the engineer who studies the cosmos to understand the Earth. We also meet his friend, Sebastien, manager of the researcher community and dog-sleigh superman.”
