New York-based filmmaker Albert Moya recalls how he took on an unfamiliar subject for his latest short:

“Before doing this film I hadn’t really thought about male dancers, and I liked the idea of taking something on that I didn’t have much knowledge about. I got obsessed with Philip-Lorca DiCorcia’s book Hustlers and that worked as a great reference for the film.

“We went to Hollywood because there are lots of men working there in this field. We got to spend three days with the guys, hanging out at their homes, gym, restaurants, places they like to go. All the men we met were perfectionists who work on the art of the body. They seemed to see life as a place where there’s everything to discover, everything was waiting for them.”
