Fusing Afro jazz and electronics, C’mon Tigre is an enigmatic art and music collective featuring at its core an anonymous duo, but which extends to a wide range of collaborators, including Californian drummer Danny Ray Barragan and Brooklyn saxophonist Jessica Lurie, who feature on “A World of Wonder.”

“We grew up on the Mediterranean coasts and are deeply influenced by its great mixture of cultures; North Africa, the Balkans, the Arab world, Europe and its colonies, Greece, Italy,” the pair explain. “We tried to put together a complex puzzle which tells the story of our contemporary Babylon.”

Taken from C’mon Tigre’s self-titled album, the video was made in collaboration with Croatian artist Danijel Žeželj, known for his work creating graphic novels for Marvel and DC Comics, and made by taking pictures of Žeželj’s paintings over the course of several weeks.

“The peculiarity of his approach is that every mark erases the one below,” explain C’mon Tigre. “It is a work of continuous evolution, which generates images only to leave them lost in time, as memory does.”
