Following the announcement of a new chapter as Kyle Abraham Dance Vanguard, the New York contemporary dance company formerly known as A.I.M. celebrates its choreographic DNA for the short film Chapter 1.

Created with filmmaker, director, and photographer Christian Padron, the film details the movement, dancers and creative language that have defined Kyle Abraham Dance Vanguard, reflecting on the company’s legacy while looking towards its ongoing evolution.

Chapter 1 represents Kyle Abraham Dance Vanguard’s enduring passion for collaborating with inspiring artists across mediums to create art and opportunity both onstage and beyond.
