Buenos Aires-based artist Valentín Demarco reclaims traditional Argentinian craftwork and silversmithing for a new epoch in his latest film and collection of work.

The artisan's decorative array of finely crafted butt plugs takes centre stage in Cebame, which turns an erotic object into a humble drinking vessel. Demarco's humorous yet sensitive remodelling of a common sex toy speaks to society about the liberalisation of sexuality. 

Demarco's project was spotted by NOWNESS at ArtBo, Colombia’s annual international art fair in Bogotá.
