ALLTHINGSMATA, the avant-pop outfit headed by London-based musician and performer Luis Felber, unveil their latest video—starring French actor and singer Josephine De la Baume—in this new and exclusive premiere. The band, born in a crypt beneath St John's Churchyard in Tower Bridge, have gained a steady following for their unique sonic world; both dreamy and punchy in equal measure.
"Fear touches on the feeling of anxiety and lethargy and the desire to let it go," explains Felber. "I enjoy playing this song live because it’s sexy. I’m very happy to have had such a great team on this video and have wanted to work with Lucy for a long long time. 'Fear' follows on from the recently released 'No Fools', which received airplay on BBC Radio 1. Director Lucy Luscombe, who created the dream-like visuals for the video, has worked with the likes of Skepta, Blood Orange, and John Grant.
ALLTHINGSMATA will be playing at the Islington, London, on Monday 26 November. More information here.
